Optisoft's Accounts Manager, Anne Hovell, now in her 60th year, was delighted to complete her sixth London marathon, raising more than £800 for Cancer Research.

A very impressive 4 hours 49 minutes saw Anne beat many much younger runners, thanks to her regular running regime around Boston Spa, near to Optisoft's York head office.

"I have really enjoyed the experience of the marathons. Each time you do it there is a fantastic sense of achievement, and I am delighted to have raised a few thousand pounds for Cancer Research, a charity for which I have always run," said Anne, who has worked for Optisoft since the company formed 19 years ago.
