OPTISOFT SUPPORTS VISION CARE FOR HOMELESS PEOPLE

Monday January 31, 2011

Vision Care for Homeless People, the charity which operates centres in London and Birmingham, has received a boost to its funds with a £500 donation by Optisoft, in lieu of its Christmas card mailing.

The practice management IT company, which now conducts all communication by email with its 1,000 strong group of independent practices, used the funds normally set aside for postage and stationery to supplement some of the running costs of the charity.

Des Mayhew, Optisoft Sales Manager, left, presented a cheque to Harinder Paul, the charity founder, and explained –

“Making a small contribution can make an enormous difference to a charity such as this, which runs with minimal overheads and provides the means for many people to get back into society. Sadly, it seems there are a growing number of homeless people and the demands of this charity are set to grow – it is very rewarding to offer some help.”
