Describing a condition to a patient is made much easier if the patient can see the condition for themselves. The ability to present patients with images that clarify a diagnosis not only instills confidence in your practice, it makes the patient experience more memorable and more reassuring.
Images can be captured from the most modern fundus cameras and digital slit-lamps with ease. The images can then be compared with historical or library images that enable a diagnosis to be made that is as comprehensive as possible.
The Optisoft solution even enables you to zoom in on a particular section of an image, using advanced magnification techniques to highlight certain areas or aspects of the image that underline or explain a point with greater clarity. It also has extensive measuring and drawing tools to enable the optometrist to manipulate, annotate and store the resulting images.
Our software allows a complete record of patients’ images to be stored from each consultation. These images can be compressed and displayed as thumbnails on the patient record screen. The image to be viewed can then be displayed full-size.
With Optisoft, the use of clinical images is no longer restricted to your practice. The original image can be incorporated into e-mails or letters for distribution either to the patient themselves or to specialists for comment and analysis.
