Need for Speed

As new features are added, there’s always a chance it can impact on performance. Usually any impact isn’t noticable, but sometimes big changes can have a major effect on speed. Unfortunately, it’s not always possible to know the extent of the impact until the system is used in the real world.

Recently, we have been experiencing a drop in speed mainly due to the introduction of the new, fully integrated eGOS module and it is most noticeable if your data is hosted in the cloud. Our development team have now fixed the issues with eGOS and they have also been busy optimising each module to provide an even faster user experience.

Key speed improvements (with hosted data sample):
eGOS screen loading: 5x faster
Record opening: 2x faster
Appointment saving: 3x faster
Clinical record opening: 4x faster

*PC performance and broadband speeds will affect the above times

The Support Team are contacting practices directly in order so that we can apply the latest update manually for you this time around.

Payment terminal integration to the Cash module
On-line appointment booking

Wednesday 28th December – Reduced cover from 9.00am till 1.00pm
Thursday 29th December – Reduced cover from 9.00am till 1.00pm
Friday 30th December – Reduced cover from 9.00am till 1.00pm
Saturday 31st December – Emergency cover 9.00am-10.30am
Monday 2nd January – Closed

We re-open with normal hours from Tuesday 2nd January from 8.30am
